Kale and Banana Smoothie (Kims start to the day)
2 cups chopped kale
1/2 cup 1% milk or the liquid of your choice
1 Table spoon Flax Seed
1 Tablespoon of Maple syrup. Or a sweetener of your choice
Place the banana, kale, 1% milk, flax seeds, and maple syrup into a blender. Cover, and puree until smooth. Serve over ice if desired. You can substitute the Kale for other vegetables, and the banana for other fruit. That’s the nice thing about a smoothie you can add what you like.
